Patti's Cancer Kicking Fund

Patti is a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. Sadly, she had been experiencing extreme pain in her lower back for months causing her to retire from her job early. She went in for an MRI recently and was found to have a large mass on her kidney pressing on her spine. In the week following, she was told she has stage 4 kidney cancer that has spread to her tailbone. She will be undergoing radiation for the next two weeks then doctors will be removing her kidney on April 26th. Her loving husband is currently the only one working and will be by her side through all her procedures, which means taking time off of work. This fund is set up to bless this family to help cover medical expenses, travel expenses to and from Iowa City and loss of income. For those near and far, this is one way to help them through a difficult time by taking some financial burdon off their shoulders allowing her focus to be on healing and recovery.  In addition, for every $10 you donate, I will mail you an orange (the color for kidney cancer awareness) "No One Fights Alone" braclet to wear in support of Patti as she fights this battle (facebook message me with your name and address so I know where to send bracelet)!
