Why ask for help?

I've been dealing with major depression and anxiety pretty much my whole life—I'm not even 30 and it's already been 20 years since my first attempt at suicide, just to give you an idea.

Roughly a year ago, things got bad enough where it put my ability to work efficiently at my full-time job at risk. I did see a therapist and we attempted to find a psychiatrist, though we had no luck in finding openings—I was told there was just too much demand for psychiatrists, and not enough people working in the field.

In April of 2018, I was forced to quit my full-time job with how bad my condition has gotten, as my anxiety would make me feel trapped so badly when at work, I'd completely disassociate and be unable to communicate, or even move sometimes. Soon after I started having issues driving, where if I felt I'd been driving for too long, I'd have a major anxiety attack and start dangerously speeding to try and get home without even realizing it.
I just had to pay a $350 speeding ticket for doing 90mph in a 65mph while driving home from somewhere after doing a favor for a family member I already owe so much to. This clearly hasn't helped things
We've done everything under the sun to stay afloat while my disability claim is being processed, including selling off things in the the house that we can, borrowing against our already-limited 401k, maxing out every credit card we have, and getting more help from our family than anyone should have to give. I had to stop seeing my therapist in June because I could no longer afford her, much less continue to search for a psychiatrist.

We are already one month behind on our mortgage as of this month. If we lose our home, we unfortunately aren't close enough with anyone to really have a place to go where we feel safe. I have a hard time getting close to people with my issues, and tend to drive them away without trying to.

Whether you throw some money here, buy a book or two at www.goalpublications.com , recommend my editing services at www.ottercorrect.com  to a writer you may know, or simply help spread the word, anything you can do is appreciated. Most of the money I make with this business, one I can only manage to run because it's from the safety of my home at almost 100% my own schedule, goes right back into itself, so it's unable to really help support us.
