Brafton's April Fundraiserpalooza!
Donation protected
We will be raising money the entire month of April to go toward causes close to Brafton employees' hearts. Our goal is to raise $2,000 to be split between the various causes, but any amount would be appreciated. Here's a little bit about each initiative:
The Boston Firefighter's Credit Union in Dorchester has created the fund to benefit the families of Lt. Edward Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy, who died when they became trapped fighting a fire in a brownstone apartment building in the Back Bay area.
CMS Marissa Almeida will be taking part in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, a 39-mile journey, on behalf of her friend's mother. Marissa has been training for the event, scheduled to take place May 18th and 19th. You can learn more about Marissa's mission on her fundraising page.
Gina Tempesta, a member of the video team, is currently working on a children's book all about the Big Dig. Gina plans for it to be part of a series and the first installment is called ""Boston's Other Green Monster: A Story about the Big Dig."
