Help Ryan play for Ireland lacrosse

This past fall I traveled to Dublin to try out for the Ireland National Lacrosse Team. After three rounds of tryouts in two diffrent countries, I was selected as one of the 23 players on the active roster.

This July, my teammates and I will be traveling to Denver, CO to compete against 38 other nations in the FIL World Lacrosse Championships. It is an honor to have the opportunity to represent the country of my birth in competition against the best players in the world.

The costs for the Ireland Mens National Team to participate in the 2014 World Lacrosse Championships are estimated between 75,000 - 90,000 euros. Entry fees, referees, room and board, ground transportation, uniforms, equipment and supplies for an event this large add up rather quickly. As a condition of participation, each player is responsible for fundraising to support this endeavor.

I am reaching out to family and friends to help support me and my team on our journey to Denver. Whether you are Irish by blood or just like to root for the underdog, I promise to make you proud that you helped by my efforts on the field representing Ireland.
