8 year old Rose
Donación protegida
My name is Eric Dorval, Rose is the daughter of one of my co-workers. Her parents adore her, and she is a blessing for them.
Her Dad and Mom do everything they can for her, and like all parents, Rose is the center of their universe. Here is Rose's letter to you all:
Hello, my name is Rose, and I am 8 years old. I have cerebral palsy, which means I can't talk or walk by myself. But I am very happy, and I love to smile. I have a wonderful family and friends who help me every day.
I use a manual wheelchair to move around, but it is not easy for me or my parents. Sometimes we can't go to places that I want to see because the wheelchair is too heavy, or the roads are not smooth. I wish I could have more freedom and fun.
There is a special equipment that can make my wheelchair better (push & break aid). It is a motor that can be attached to the manual wheelchair and make it go faster and smoother. It can also help my parents and assistants to push me without getting tired. It sounds amazing, right?
But the problem is that the motor is very expensive. It costs about 9,000 CAD and the government and medical benefit plan do not cover it. My parents are trying to buy it for me, but they need some help.
That's why I am writing this letter to you. I am asking you to please support me and my family in this fundraising campaign. Any amount of donation will be greatly appreciated and will make a big difference in my life. You can donate online by clicking on this link: [Rose's Wheelchair Fund]
Thank you for reading my letter and for your kindness. I hope you have a beautiful day and a happy holiday season.
Love,
Rose
