Continuing The Fight

I know most of you have read and are continuing to keep up with Garrett Lane's posts and have contributed very generously to help ease his and Shelby's minds while they focus 100% on fighting this unrelenting disease.  You have already played such a significant part throughout their journey.  They are overwhelmed and extremely grateful for everything you have already done for their family.  You have given them so much peace of mind.  There has also been someone else who has played an extremely crucial role in their journey, and that is,  Shelby's mom, Ginnie Gopez.   Ginnie is the sole provider in her household and has been with the Lane family every step of the way.  She has been at Shelby's side in the hospital and at home for weeks at a time or, has taken care of Lucy and Charlotte on a continual bases so that Shelby and Garrett can spend some much needed time together.  By doing so she has depleted all of her paid time off at work.   Shelby needs her mom NOW more than ever while she takes these critical next steps at Stanford.  Shelby will be at Stanford for an estimated ninety days.  With all of us pulling together we can give Shelby the extra support she needs, her mom by her side.   So, I'm asking all of you one more time to please step up to help Shelby though this continuous process.  Please, anything helps.
