Bogieboo's surgery

I rescued Bogie 9 years ago from a very abusive situation. He has been my constant companion and I cannot imagine what my life would be without him.
Bogie and I once had a home of our own however, due to a succession of unfortunate circumstances I lost everything including my job. Thanks to my dear friends, we do have a roof over our heads and I am in school fulltime to improve my chances for permanent employment.
In the meantime, Bogie has torn his ACL and we had hoped that he would heal without an invasive procedure. Unfortunately, he hasn't gotten better and needs surgery as soon as possible to repair his leg and prevent additional damage.
$3000.00 is so far out of my range at this point in my life. As a student living from side job to side job, I cannot possibly provide for his surgery and the Veterinary hospital does not take payments. I have always been independent and asking for help is so difficult for me however, this isn't about me or my ego, it's about my Bogie boy.
Bogie has always been an active dog and it is killing me to see him unable to do all the things that he is used to doing and in such pain. Please find it in your heart to help my Bogieboo.
