300km for pieta

My name is Jessica Henson and I have decided to walk 300km in the month of August to raise money for a charity extremely close to my heart. I will post pictures of my progress weekly on my Instagram account - jessicahensonx 

Pieta rely on the generosity of the public whose donations and fundraising make up over 80% of their income. They, along with a lot of Charitable Organisations have had their Fundraising capabilities hampered because of Covid 19 restrictions.

In 2013, my family lost my older sister Nicola to suicide. Pieta provide amazing services such as free counselling to those with suicidal ideation, those engaging in self-harm, and those bereaved by suicide. The funds raised will allow those services and their 24/7 helpline to  continue as usual. 

I understand that throughout the last year people have lost their jobs and are out of work due to the pandemic but any donation no matter how big or small would make a big difference and would be greatly appreciated by me and so many families who depend on the amazing work of Pieta.
