Help Vanessa Volunteer in South Africa!

Hello all! I have recently been accepted to volunteer in Cape Town, South Africa through OneHeartSource.
As many of you know, I will be graduating from California State University, Northridge this Spring and have decided to end my college education with a bang! After volunteering multiple times in Africa and Asia on humanitarian trips, I feel as though I can't stop now! I will be there for a months time from June to July and working alongside other volunteers. To describe what exactly i'll be doing there, I thought who better to describe my time there than OneHeartSource? "OneHeartSource volunteers will be working in the townships outside of cape town to provide some of the most disadvantaged students in the world with opportunities to excel academically and personally. Our volunteer program offers university students from around the world an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of many of South Africa's youth by providing quality education both in and outside of the classroom. Through a combination of teaching in schools and leading after-school programs in music, arts, dance, and sports, ohs volunteers will serve as leaders and mentors to many of South Africa's most under-served students." So I will be empowering youn adults and children through the process of teaching! Although I am nervous and anxious, I know that my degree in English and my confidence will shine through in my classroom. As many of you have already figured out, I cannot do this alone. I need assistance financially to achieve this trip and that's why i need your help! Anything helps!
