Hey Everyone! I have recently been accepted into the Reach Out Volunteers Team. I will be departing for Cambodia in the June/July University holidays and need your help to get there. Donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated by me, and more importantly, by the community I will be visiting.
I'll be spending the most part of 2 weeks in a remote community, located in the gulf of Thailand. The majority of my efforts will go towards marine rehabilitation, for example, helping to preserve coral reefs that have been badly damaged by harmful fishing practices. Other projects include collecting data to support applications for protected fishing zones for the use of the local communities and teaching English to the village children. I will also be helping to install new infrastructure such as water pumps and rubbish disposal facilities.
Even if you are not able to make a donation, sharing/posting this link would be a considerable contribution towards my goal.
