Cancer Treatment Funds

Hi, my name is Telissa R. Murray.  I'm a 36 year old woman who has been diagnosed with breast cancer on July 9, 2015.  I was diagnosed exactly one week after my father passed away from prostate and bone cancer.  Prior to my father,  my mother-in-law passed away on Thanksgiving 2014 from lung cancer and COPD.

I was blessed with a new job on 9-7-14 and my husband and I wanted to wait until I had a year at my job before trying to start our family.  Unfortunately for us, we were told that with chemo and my age that our greatest option to conceive after chemo and surgery was to go to a fertility clinic prior to starting chemo treatments.  My insurance does not cover IVF/fertility treatments and the cost was $10,000.00.  We had to pay a $2,000.00 down payment and $836.00 for prescriptions prior to starting the process.  We now have a monthly payment plan with the clinic.  In addition to that new bill, I have new medical co-payments coming in every week.  Even with insurance, I have co-payments in the thousands for chemo treatment and other cancer treatment proceedures.  It is currently a struggle to maintain all of these bills and live day to day with normal expenses. 

I know there is always a test before a testimony and I know God is good.  I pray that I will be able to get assistance with these expenses and be able to fight this fight.  I wear a smile every day, even when I'm tired because I know God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.  Please continue to pray for me and with me as I fight my fight.
