Hello, everyone!
My name is Katherine Pedrick and I am a freshman in the Honors Program at Florida State University. This year, I was selected as one of only 30 students for a two month internship with an organization in another country during the summer. I was accepted to volunteer with Seeds of Hope, a charity organization that helps at-risk students in Huaraz, Peru by providing educational, social, and emotional support. During my time there, I will be tutoring students as well promoting health education and developing extracurricular activities.
I created this account to try to prevent my work abroad from being a financial burden on my family back home. Any amount is greatly appreciated, and thank you so much for helping make this trip possible!
