Hello Audubon friends and family!
We, the Class of 2015, are fundraising for our 8th grade class trip to Washington DC! In the past 4 months, we have sold candy canes, we have sold Smencils, we have sold carnations, we have held dances and we have painted fingernails to earn money and we have more plans for fundraising over the next 8 months. But, to reach our goal of $17,500 for our homeroom 202, we need your help! The cost of the trip is $800 per student but, with our collective fundraising efforts, we hope to get the cost down to $200-$300 per person. This makes is less costly for families so more students are able to go which makes it more of a class trip. This trip will be educational, an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives, and our last class bonding experience before we all go our separate ways for high school.
We worked together to research, script, act, direct, green-screen, edit, and produce the video below. We hope it shows, in an entertaining way, our excitement about our trip and our knowledge about DC.
