The Spurlock Family would like to express our deepest gratitude for each expression of sympathy on the recent loss of our beloved Shanda. Our family appreciates every kind word, every card, every call, every prayer, and every offer of support. We would like to invite family, friends and colleagues to join us in remembering and celebrating the life of Shanda L. Spurlock. The memorial service will be held at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on Saturday, March 22, 2014 starting
with a brief visitation at 3:00pm. The program will begin at 3:30pm.
Shanda led a remarkable life full of athletic, academic, civic and career achievements. She had a kind heart, a generous nature, and compassionate soul. It is our wish that her spirit live on. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "The Shanda L. Spurlock Foundation" P.O. Box 62465, Cincinnati, Ohio 45262-0465 or online through this site. The foundation will support organizations and causes that were near and dear to Shanda's heart including SWEL, Princeton High School Track & Field, and Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Awareness & Research.
