Every year, the Keller Williams family hosts RED Day. On this day we take on a project that helps the community. This year the Keller Williams Waterford family is excited to be able to help the neighbors at Bithlo, FL.
When you think of small town America, our Bithlo community is the perfect example. Surrounded by rural areas and a total population of about 8,000, Bithlo is comprised of families eager to enjoy the conveniences and amenities that greater Orlando boasts and yet still being too far to reach. Unfortunately public transportation does not reach the community situated on the outskirts of East Orange county. This makes it hard for the basic conveniences we enjoy to be obtainable for these hard working individuals, which has brought down this community's literacy rate, raised domestic violence and kept a low overall median income.
However we can help Today! Tim McKenny is the mastermind behind a brand new Bithlo Community Center. The Community Center is already operating as a school which has a special program for children with behavioral challenges. Your Donation will allow it to also feature a GED completion program, medical awareness and other outreach programs necessary for the development of the community. Your donation will also help complete a computer room which will allow technical training and the installation of a much needed, new septic tank that has greater capacity to be able to accept more participants.
We appreciate every donation, no matter how small. Can't make a donation? We still need you! On May 8th the Keller Williams Waterford Lakes Family will be going to complete these projects hands on. We are honored to get our hands dirty for the community and need your hands, your expertise or maybe your contacts. At the end of the day we will be having a big party with the community, which will include food, entertainment for the kids and we are expecting the media to be there.
