Mission trip: Honduras Children's Home
We are blessed to get another chance to volunteer at the Manuelito Project in Honduras!
The Project is home to approx 40 kids aged 4 to older teens, and also takes in another 40 every day for school and lunch. It is a refuge for street kids - once abandoned, neglected or abused, often living on the streets or in poverty.
Our family will be traveling there this summer. We are raising funds to cover: airfare, board/ food and then the rest (around half) is distributed to the project for materials, tools etc, and fun things for the children.
They have just broken ground building a new school so that is likely going to be our work project. For the fun part, we spend our time with the kids - crafts, singing, dancing, hanging out...
