His smile was contagious, his passion was infectious and his character was unlike anything I've ever encountered.  Just like he would do for any one of us, we decided that on behalf of Matt's family, we'd like to help as much as possible to offset the expenses his family would come across and donate any excess in his name to causes he loved.
