Buffy's Battle Against Kidney Cancer
On March 4, 2019 our family got the news that no one wants to hear. My mom, Buffy Byrd, was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma in her left kidney. After meeting with doctors and having further testing done, we learned that her cancer is in Stage 3 and has made it's way into the inferior vena cava. The treament plan consist of complete removal of the affected kidney and renal vein, while cleaning out the inferior vena cava. As we all know this is not the most cost friendly process on Greg, Buffy and the family, especially with this being self pay. Therefore, all donations made through this go fund me will go towards medical bills, lodging, and all living expenses for the road to recovery. We would like to thank everyone in advance.
