Guatemala Joe - Missions Work
Donation protected
Hello, My name is Joe Swartz. I'm a full-time missionary with Porch de Salomon (http://porchdesalomon.org/), living in Panajachel, Guatemala for over three years now. As a clown, I work with children; as a carpenter, I build beds and other furniture for local Mayan families. I also help drive our teams around and build new homes for the truly impoverished.
Of course, this line of work does not come with a salary, so I'm trying to raise funds to continue my work on the mission field for the next year. Annually I can live and work here in Guatemala for only about $4,800. This is a basic, simple life in a small room just outside the Porch de Solomon wood shop--no tv, no hot water (as most of the local Mayans live).
Please visit my web site (GuatemalaJoe.com) and watch the above video to check out what we are doing. I update my site almost daily. Please prayerfully consider if you might be one of my donors--keeping in mind that any donation helps to keep me down here. On my site, I also have a "Christmas and Care Package" link if you're able to send toys or other supplies for the kids. Thank you in advance for any support or help you are willing to offer.
En Cristo,
Guatemala Joe
