Syrian Refugees Turkey
Donation protected
Dear Friends, my classmates and I are going on a Study Abroad with George Mason Univeristies School of Conflict Resolution program from March 8th until March 17th, 2014. We intend on visiting two towns in Turkey Ghazi-Aintab & Hatay. We will be working with a local non-profit organization on the ground while visiting hospitals, educational centers, and refugee camps.
We are looking to raise funds to directly benefit the Syrian refugee's. I hope to document our visit through photos and video to relay how your donations will directly impact the humanitarian crisis. I intend on providing materials for basic needs depending on the situation on the ground and depending on the organizations necessities/shortages for the refugees.
Your contribution is greatly appreciated; please share with your family & friends.
"The Greek philosopher Aristotle believed that the universe had existed forever. The reason humanity was not more developed, he believed, was that floods or other natural disasters repeatedly set civilization back to the beginning."
"We must work together to end this war and to protect the children of Syria. The international community has watched from the sidelines for three years as this conflict rages, engulfing all hope. As a father and grandfather, I watch the suffering of Syria's children and must now say: No more." - Stephen Hawking
