Legal costs for custody

My name is Joshua, I am the father of Xander. My sons mother has been involved with a man who has been indicted on charges of Aggravated Child Abuse on a child under the age of 8 years old. His victim was not my son, but but I do not want my son in his presence or care at all. I have spent all my personal funds trying to get full custody of my son to remove him from that situation. We have more court hearings coming up and I need help paying the lawyer I have.
