Millicent Campbell is an 8 year old girl who is currently in West Mead children’s hospital on life support after contracting the influenza B strain which has attacked her muscles including her heart resulting in Millicent going into cardiac arrest and required CPR and is now in critical condition on heart and lung bypass machines and kidney dialysis.Her parents Ian and Steph ( my brother and sister in-law) who are from Newcastle are now living in the hospital provided Ronald McDonald house at the West Mead Hospital and are unable to attend work as every minute is a critical milestone and they have no timeframe on the progress and have been told to take it hour by hour and day by day.Could you please support Millicent and her family through this journey to help them focus on Millicent’s recovery with out the burden of worrying about lack of income while they are off work.
