‘My Dad is currently trapped in Muscat, Omandying of End Stage Liver Failure requiring immediate medical attention in the UK within weeks’

Dad’s passport was taken off him by the Police after a vehicle accident back in ‘July 2017’ in which he was a passenger.

Unfortunately the driver, a US Citizen [as of 8thSeptember 2019 is still in Muscat and with no interest or engagement by the Police concerning this matter] who is known to the authorities here in Oman left the scene of the accident leaving my Dad hanging upside down and, to all intents and purposes for dead bleeding heavily from a deep wound in his head plus several other serious injuries.

Thankfully my Dad was wearing his seat belt whichsaved his life as the vehicle hit a large Concrete Culvert at the temporary junction where the accident occurred.

Accident recovery crews attended the scene along with the Police where they had to cut him out of the passenger seat and take him to the Government Major Accident & Triage where the doctors and staff stabilised his condition.

Dad has end stage liver failure and requires constant medical treatment to keep him alive. 

Private Hospital treatment without Medical Insurance is very expensive and  

his personal finances have been used up with medical bills along with family and friends have also given money for hospital bills.

Without the continuing support of the ASTER Hospital Group and the tireless and critical medical treatment rendered by Dr.Ashik [Senior Gastro Consultant] along with his clinical staff at Al Raffah Hospital my Dad would have succumbed many months ago.  

I am raising money to bring him home to be near his family and receive specialist medical treatment in the UK. 

All donated money raised will be used on any in country costs to expedite the timely departure from Oman as well as hospital treatment to get him stable enough to fly the 7.5 hours flying time back to the UK, and also to help towards the cost of his assisted medical staff flight as stipulated by Dr. Ashik due to his condition continuing to be unstable requiring constant medial inflight assistance who will be familiar with Dad’s volatile and unstable condition.
