A.Skate is a 501c3 non-profit that holds free skate clinics for children with Autism. We take children with little or no skateboarding experience and expose them to the sport in a safe environment, with full safety gear. It allows children to connect with the outside world in a very unique way as well as enjoy the exhilaration of skateboarding. We understand that raising a child with Autism comes with certain challenges and can be an expensive endeavor. A.Skate is a grassroots organization. We fund all of our activities from individual contributions.
A group of moms in San Diego have decided to raise money to hold an A.Skate day here in San Diego during the month of April for Autism Awareness month. We are asking you to help us with this cause - give up one cup of coffee today and give that money to help us help our kids get a unique and life changing experience and ask 1 friend to do the same. That will help one family have a great day doing something that they never thought possible. It only takes one person to create change - be the one!
