Help in a time of need..

I umm'd and ahh'd about setting this up for my family - then a few close friends of mine reassured me that it was a good idea and so here it is.
As most of you are aware Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in March 2014 and underwent a really tough 18 months worth of chemo treatments.
Unfortunately chemo wasn't really helping and seeing as it made her increasingly sick she was taken off it.
Mum has spent the last 1.5 months in hospital, but is now in the hospice where she will most likely live out the rest of her days surrounded by her family.
A bit of back story before I get to the point - For as long as I can remember Mum has been the 'bread winner' in our family. Most of you know that my Dad is legally blind and hasn't been able to work or drive for the greater part of the last two decades. We have never been wealthy but we were comfortable and never went without anything we needed because of this hard working Wonder Woman who I am privileged to call my Mum.
While my brother is working and I am working causal hours, it just isn't quite enough for all the bills and expenses that come with living in this day and age.
We're both doing as much as we can and trying to spend as much time with Mum as possible while we can.. I just want to help ease the burden and stress on Us all a little bit - so I'm not asking for much, but if you can spare even a little we would be forever grateful.
This family has never been very good at asking for help, especially not financial help but if it will help alleviate even some of the stress during this extremely difficult time in our lives then it's worth asking.
