Getting Back To Work

Dear friends, most of you know how difficult it is for me to ask for help, but I am reaching out because I am in a time critical situation. My laptop is dying. It has been a faithful workhorse the last 7 years, but one too many spilled liquid accidents on the keyboard, as well as constant wear and tear, have taken their toll. I need a new one, and soon. 

I know in these times it might not seem an urgent need, but my laptop is vital to my being able to work, to connect with the writing community, to contact the services I need to keep a roof over my head. Being home-bound with chronic pain issues, my laptop provides me vital social contact and allows me to work from home. Without it, there is no income. Without it there is no #MadVerse, no @PromptList, and no #SlamWords. 

Please help if you can, either with a donation or with a signal boost to spread the word. It has become a daily struggle to stay connected, and increasingly difficult to read or work as the screen constantly pixellates or blanks out in large chunks, the keyboard is sluggish and sometimes non-responsive, or completely weird and random things happen. I'm trying to raise enough to not only get a new laptop, but to cover the shipping and to pay for a protection/repair plan. 

I don't know how much longer this current one will hold out, so the sooner we can do this the sooner I can get back to serving the writing community and taking care of my family.
