Please help this stray male tabby

Please meet this adorable male tabby who was found in a friend's front yard. He was unable to move and smelled terrible. He was taken to the vet where it was discovered that he had several injuries the worst of which was a huge gash on one of his legs that was infested with maggots. He is an unneutered tabby cat about 7 years old and is in need of amputation surgery. We have someone willing to take care of him post surgery and will work to find him the perfect home.
