Yuri & Kristi Trebotich Family
Donation protected
Yuri and Kristi have been married 15 years and have four children ages 8, 10, 12 and 13. They decided to have their children quickly as Kristi had intestinal issues that would complicate each pregnancy and limit her window of time. Little did we know it would be so hard on Kristi and then, the difficulty with the babies.
Working through various health issues with the children, from seizures to life threatening asthma, allergies and ruptured intestines, Yuri and Kristi persevered in faith and finally reached a point they thought would be a normal life. Then, one son became severely sick sleeping more than 20 hours a day, and when that seemed too much, Yuri was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.
Moving home to her parents, they have aggressively fought this fight for 5 years with every opportunity given them to beat this cancer. We’re sad to say today, it is not working. Yuri is home on hospice care and even though we don’t know how long, we will strive to enjoy every moment, make every memory we can, and finish well in faith.
Kristi has been studying hard to become a nurse, all the while working when she could at a hospital, and is one quarter away from graduating. Now with Yuri’s diminishing health, she must put her studies on hold and tend to her husband, delaying her graduating to the end of the year. Needless to say, the financial strain of doctor, hospital, medicines, and lab bills has been overwhelming.
We are establishing this go fund me as an avenue for those who want to give to and support Yuri, Kristi and the children. Any amount is more than appreciated, it is received as a true gift of love and care.
