6th Annual Supporting Survivors Fundriser

Wow, 6 years... Thanks to everyone who has kept this vision alive! This year, we are taking a different spin on fundraising. I am working on collecting funds to be used for emergency situations over the course of the next calendar year. Too many times, survivors are faced with a dire need at a moment's notice-- and the System isn't designed for that. There Isn't time to wait to call during office hours for food, there isn't time to wait for a gas card to become available when they are running away that night.

My goal this year, is to create a cash pool for these emergencies. Not only will the ability to move on a moment's notice benefit survivors, but it will benefit the longevity of the relationship between the advocate and the survivor. Being able to make an even-bigger Impact on a survivor at the worst time will strengthen the power of the survivor, instill confidence In their case, and move forward with their charges with the help of their advocates.
