Hello All !

As most of you already know, our names are Alyssa Rose Patrick and Kara Lynn Kalmbach and together we are a design team known as RoseLynn BK.

As senior Fashion Design students at Pratt Institute, we are currently working on our senior thesis collection, 20 Something. Each student is expected to create an 8-12 look collection, so as a design team we are aiming to produce 16 looks total. Every look will be designed, patterned, sewn, and completed, by us. We are extremely textile oriented designers, so in this collection you will see a variety of handwork including embroidering, felting, and hand knitting. We also love to play with print so we will be including prints that we've hand drawn and designed.

This collection is about who we are individually and how we bring our two aesthetics together to create a fresh and quirky, yet feminine brand. It is a collection of things that we have seen, done, and experienced - everything is a reflection of who we are. We design clothes that we would wear with textiles that we've made by hand, so we are really creating something that allows our customers to be apart of our world. We want to let every woman who wears our clothing feel like she can always be 20 something. As two best friends, we want our customers to feel like they can belong in our circle.

Unfortunately, producing a collection is extremely expensive and as students, it is a difficult project to fund alone. We are asking for anyone who believes in our vision to please donate towards our thesis collection - every bit counts. With the help of our supporters, we would not have to sacrifice the quality of our work because we would be able to buy high quality materials to represent ourselves as a high fashion brand. Our longterm goal is to establish a successful clothing company and hopefully with the success of this collection we will be able to launch and market our fashion label. This collection is the beginning of RoseLynn BK so we need your help to be able to show the world what we are capable of.

Any donations that you can give would be life changing for RoseLynn BK as we would have the funds to start creating our company that we have dreamed of establishing. We want to share this experience with you. It is a large business venture, but we are ready to enter into the fashion industry as a successful brand and you can be apart of it.
