Help Me Get To Mozambique!!

Greetings. I have been provided with a great opportunity to volunteer in Mozambique this coming May. I will be working to build a women's center, partnering with a Utah based organization known as No Poor Among Us (NPAU) . No Poor Among Us (http://www.npau.org/)is dedicated to alleviating poverty by assisting women to become self sufficient by establishing cooperatives and micro loans for women owned businesses as well as collecting donations for uniforms to send girls to school.

Several Weber State University professors have partnered with No Poor Among US to take students to the country to volunteer building the women's center. For more information about efforts and Weber State University, click here . Below is a short video explaining the project.




I will be part of a team providing training in square foot gardening, a technique with high yields relative to the area of land used. Additional information on square foot gardens is here. The technique will be adapted to use locally available technology and materials.

I am raising money to fund airfare, lodging, food, and some expenses toward building the gardens. Any help would be appreciated.
