March For Our Lives was started by Cameron Kasky, a survivor of the Stoneman Douglas school shooting. He began the #NeverAgain movement and March For Our Lives in hopes to never see blood shed in schools again.
I am Madison Syfert, a senior at Myers Park High School. I have started this movement in Charlotte, NC because I saw no change in legislation and more lives being taken, and had a passion to take a stand. All net proceeds of the march will be donated to the survivors of the Parkland shooting.
The donations from this fund will go towards the costs of organizing the march. As the leader of the Charlotte March I will be responsible for withdrawing funds. I am going to set up a separate account in my bank and withdraw the funds. Again, net donations will be sent directly to the national March For Our Lives fund.
