As you may know, Justin Hiltner was diagnosed with colorectal cancer just as the album we recorded earlier in 2018 was released in August. While he has insurance, and he's still able to earn some income through his work for The Bluegrass Situation, the timing of his diagnosis and treatment means that he's facing some pretty steep out-of-pocket expenses before he reaches his insurance's limits - basically, he''ll hit his maximum for 2018 right at the end of the year, and then will need to pay out-of-pocket up to the maximum again at the start of 2019.

That's where this campaign comes in. Helping to cover Justin's out-of-pocket treatment expenses will give him the flexibility to pay for his other living needs without having to make treament-or-food kinds of choices (choices that, I know he would want me to point out, many fellow Americans are forced to make on a daily basis).

I know how much Justin appreciates the love and support he's gotten already through Caring Bridge and through direct connections with friends and family - and if that's all you're able to do, it's more than enough! But since news of his cancer has made the rounds, a lot of folks have asked how they can contribute - and this is how.
