Hello everyone, my name is Jack Lyttleton-Frances, I live in Kiveton Park and I’m fundraising to help me and my family get back on our feet. On July 19th during the record breaking temperatures, the woods near my house caught on fire, this continued to spread up to mine and my neighbors fences and eventually climbed up the back side of our houses. The roof of my house caved in and most of my house was not accessible after the fire. We’ve lost most of our belongings and didn’t have contents insurance so we will not get any money from our insurance company to get these items back. We may have been silly to not have that insurance policy but I don’t think anyone could have expected what happened. I live with my 2 younger siblings, my 2 adorable cats and my mom and have never asked anyone for money before in my life. I set a £1000 goal but I would be happy to collect £5 .
