The journey continues

For all that truly know Derek and me know that we do not like asking others for help.  However, we are at a place in our lives right now that our desire of becoming parents out weighs our pride.

Derek and I have been trying to get pregnant for over 3 years.  We have sought out assistance with fertility  specialists and integrative health doctors.  We are currently attempting to raise money for an egg donor procedure which might be our final opportunity to bear our own children.  Without going into great detail about our struggles, I wanted to provide a timeline of our journey to parenthood.

November 2010- Began "trying"
December 2011- Procedure to unkink one fallopian tube
April 2012- Began seeing fertility specialist
May- 2012- IUI attempt
June 2012- IUI attempt
July 2012- IUI attempt
August 2012- IUI attempt
September 2012- IUI attempt
October 2012- IUI attempt
January 2013- injectables ($6,000) + first attempt at IVF
February 2013- injectables ($3,500) + second attempt at IVF

We are extrememly blessed to have an amazing support group with our friends and family and greatly appreciate all of your help in making our dreams come true.  We believe that God has a planfor us and that through Him we can overcome this challenge.
