Our GSA Wants to Attend True Colors!

Hi everyone! As many of you know, I am the advisor for Suffield High School's Gay-Straight Alliance. Every year we want to attend the True Colors conference at UConn, where hundreds of GSAs from across the state come for workshops ranging from how to run an effective social justice organization to gay matchmaking. Unfortunately, our GSA is unfunded, and paying for a bus out of our pockets is too expensive on top of the already-hefty admission price.


So, I am asking you, my wonderful friends, family and allies, to consider making a donation to this fund. My students are also hard at work doing their own fundraising at school, but are nervous and shy about going on in public to fundraise for the GSA--I work in a fairly conservative town, and just being members of a GSA is a big deal for a lot of these kids.
