Rebuild Wildcat Creek Footbridge on CBT

The footbridge at Wildcat Creek on the Coosa Backcountry Trail is completely out and needs to be replaced. I've been talking with the US Forest Service about replacing the bridge. They are currently working on the plans, but don't know if they can get the funds approved anytime soon. I offered to try and get donations as well as volunteers and they were all for it. They are estimating that the bridge will cost about $2,000 to replace. The Coosa Backcountry Trail has become a favorite trail for many of us runners. We also have some big races coming up soon that use the trail. I think it would be really cool if a bunch of runners donated the funds and helped to replace the bridge. Please give what you can!!!
