Help To Get A Good Night Sleep

Hi and thank you for taking time to read my story. For the last few years I have been feeding the homeless as a volunteer going round the streets in the city Cardiff Newport Merthyr and Blackwood.we are seeing more and more people on the streets Daily. Back in October 2018 I seen a YouTube video of a gentleman in Bristol who was doing the same as me going around the streets with a rucksack on his back feeding the homeless and not getting any financial support at all. The gentleman then had a double-decker bus given to him and they then converted it into a homeless night shelter. I thought I want to do the same I want to be like this man so back in October my wife and I and a few others started to fund raise. Don’t get me wrong it was very hard but we managed to raise money to buy a London double-decker bus just under 6000. I then put out an SOS asking for people and businesses to help convert the bus. A family from Gorseinon in Swansea seen my SOS and got in touch to help. The amount of help and support has been unbelievable everybody has pulled together and now the bus is nearly finished. As I’ve said we do not get any financial help of anyone at all we have started paying for the insurance but luckily enough can pay monthly but £3000 is very very expensive we are asking if you could spare anything and I mean anything even if it’s a pound every single penny goes to the homeless we do not take out any money whatsoever for ourselves. We put our own fuel in and pay for our own expenses so 100% goes on the bus. We are hopefully going to use the bus as a drop-in centre for other people not just the homeless we are looking at getting volunteers for drug and alcohol abuse the council for housing or where you can just drop in for a coffee and a chat so please please help if you would like a look at our Facebook page it’s called h.o.p.e helping open people’s eyes we also have bank details on there if you’d like to donate I really appreciate you taking the time to read my story and hope you will help us to continue my dream. Hi everyone over the moon with everyone’s help.we have had many problems along our journey some good some bad but won’t let it beat us.we think we have solved the leaking roof we are looking into some sort of central heating on there because it’s so cold but fingers crossed the next few weeks it will be ready ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ JUST WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED AND-SHARED OUR PAGE. Unfortunately due to bad weather we haven’t be able to repair all the roof and still leaks in parts weather permitting will be done the next two weeks we are also looking into some sort of heating in there it’s very cold.then finally we got to agree with the council where we can park the bus overnight sadly we thought it was just do the bus and take it out but nope we got to please the police and councils we will get there HI JUST TO KEEP YOU ALL UPDATED WE ARE WAITING ON VOLVO TO HAVE A LOOK AT THE BUS BUT DUE TO THE FLOODS THEY ARE REALLY BUSY AT THE MOMENT BUT HOPEFULLY VERY SOON BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THE BUS HAS JUST PASSED THE MOT ❤️
