Six weeks ago I was a regular working guy, putting in 50-hour weeks and living a normal life.  Then on Sept. 20th I hit the proverbial wall, and two weeks later I had to stop working because I was in the hospital receiving a big surprise:  a diagnosis of multiple myeloma.  I am very lucky to have health coverage through Washington's Apple Care, but I have no income whatsoever since my last paycheck on October 10th and living in Seattle is not exactly for the "light of wallet."

I am by no means trying to be greedy here.  I am looking to raise money to help cover normal everyday expenses between now and the time I (hopefully) receive disability benefits.

Gratitude will only get a guy so far, so if anyone can help out in this regard, it will be accepted with the utmost love and appreciation.
