Medical Mission to Amman Jordan with SCM
Donation protected
For the 3rd time, I am travelling to Amman, Jordan as part of a
Humanitarian and Medical Mission to assist displaced Syrian families. This mission is organized by the Salaam Cultural Museum
(SCM) " an educational and humanitarian organization, whose current focus is to
provide sorely needed medical, dental, psychological and educational aid to
victims of Syria's violent genocide, now in its third year.
I look forward to spending a week working in SCM's two spinal
cord injury rehabilitation centers (one for adults, one for children), Malki
Children's and Family Therapy Center for Emotionally Disturbed Children,
mobile medical clinics, mobile dental clinics and mobile
women's/pediatrics/psychiatric services. Every other month,The SCM assembles a group of
volunteers from all over the world, which travels to Jordan for a week at a time. Each volunteer pays their own expenses, donates supplies, and puts life on hold during each mission, all in dedication to the innocent survivors of the
worst humanitarian crisis in a generation:the families of Syria. The SCM has no
administrative costs so 100% of all donations go directly toward the cause.
Having seen the atrocities first hand, the mission is clear and the calling divine . The families of
Syria need us, and I need your help getting my part of the job done.
Please help me to raise the funds I
need to make this journey. The goal is to raise $3000 by June 14,using
some to cover my travel expenses with the rest going directly to the SCM, so
that aid can get where it needs to be. There are 9 million displaced Syrians,
half of them children, and so many of them desperately need medical care. So
please share this page with your friends, families, doctors, and business
partners. Any amount of money you can donate helps, and each dollar goes a
long, long way.
