Diversity and Innovation

Donation protected

Dear Friends and Family,

As you know, 3 1/2 years ago I wrote my "first book", Black is the New Green-Marketing to Affluent African Americans. It was the first book of its kind and I'm extremely proud of my accomplishment. To date it's sold close to 5,000 copies and I've spoken at many corporations and events as a result including Bloomingdale's, American Express, Google, American Marketing Association, Luxury Marketing Council, Macys and more.

This year I will be writing my second book about Diversity and Innovation and how diverse teams can increase business innovation, why it's necessary and how it can be done effectively. This has been proven at Frito Lay, NBA and many other well respected firms across the globe. This is a management book for senior business leaders so they can understand the critical nature of creating work environments where people from all walks of life can contribute equally in the workplace. Whether you are from Russia or Vietnam, you should be valued and so should your contributions.

My interviews range from the head of Carnegie Hall to TV journalists, musicians, celebrities, phara companies, silicon valley executives, scientists and more.

I'm asking for your support in enabling me to hire an editor, conduct additional in person and video interviews (nationally and internationally), build the website and market the book. This is PHASE ONE in my fundraising and I can't accomplish yet another one of my life's goals without your kind support. Donations of any amount are welcome. I've already used $10K of my own money to fund this project as well.

As a gift to you, I will list your name on the book website as a "generous supporter".

Thank you for your time and continued belief in my important work. It's a small part of the legacy I want to leave behind: A legacy that shows I did something meaningful (changing people's perspectives) while I was here.

"Be the light and legacy for future generations to follow"

Much love and respect,

Andrea
