lawyer to protect young girls

I am a mother of 4 and our family has been dealt a rough hand. Even after the worst of the damage has been done, I'm still having to fight to protect my youngest two girls, age 5 and 9 from their biological father. He sexually abused my oldest daughter (now 16) from the age of 6 until 12 when she was old enough to realize what he was doing was wrong and to find the courage to tell me. He was arrested in May of 2017 and was facing 51 years and lifetime sex offender. Our first jury trial was hung by one lady who should not have been on it in the first place. I had several jury members reach out to me after the trial to explain their frustrations and that they were all instant guilty except for her. She stated she needed physical evidence in order to vote guilty even though they reminded her that in the jury selection they made it very clear that cases like these don't have physical evidence (has to be within 5 days of abuse) and rely on testimony. If only that woman could know the extent her actions have affected our lives and allowed this nightmare to continue. After 3+ years in and out of trials and hearings, the DA offered a terrible plea that was no where near justice and he was released on time served back in July of 2020. The DA did get ten year sex offender registry and a stipulation in his release that he have no contact with the victim or the victims family. I was reassured this would keep my girls safe for at least the remainder of his 5 year probation. He has now hired a lawyer and is requesting supervised visits with my 5 and 9 year old girls. There is not a breath in my body that could bring myself to allow this manipulating, groomer of young girls, child abusing monster into their lives. Unfortunately the legal system has made it very clear that a mother does not get to decide what's best for her daughters. It has been almost 4 years since they last saw him and I cannot fathom why they would even consider reintroducing him to their lives. It's a sick world we live in that he even has this option. He should have gotten the 51 years and then some. 
I have had consultation and have a highly recommended lawyer lined up to help us fight this and keep my girls safe. Finances are extremely tight, especially with the Covid-19 shutdowns and restrictions. The quoted fees definitely put a rock in my chest, we need to fight this ASAP and not let him get the upper hand not having any legal representation. All funds raised are going straight to the attorney so we can get this matter settled and hopefully in our favor to protect my daughters, who are in the same age range of their sister's abuse. Once we have $2,500 we can get it started and things moving forward.
