Medical bills for Alfonso Romero Diaz

This is to benefit a baby that has to be operated at birth of an onfalocele, a birth defect in which the baby's intestines stick out of the belly button at birth.


The baby's mom, Nona Diaz, is raising money in Caracas, Venezuela, by organizing a stand-up comedy show which will be held on Sunday, January 19. Tickets to the show are 350BsF, about $5.38 per person.


Since I live in the US and can't attend the show or buy a ticket in bolivares, I thought it would be a good idea to start a fundraising site where those that wanted to contribute could donate the cost of the ticket.


The revised fundraising goal, $2153, is how much we would get if we could sell 400 "tickets", which is the actual capacity of the auditorium where the fundraiser in Caracas will take place. Let's try to fill the auditorium from afar.
