A building for SPIRAL

Donation protected
Serving Pagans In Religion and LIfe is a Pagan church in Nashville, TN. We are a 501c3 and are under the umbrella of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, Index, Washington. We are committed to serving the Pagan Community through education, fellowship, rituals and helping those in need.

We are raising money so that we may lease (ideally we will be able to buy) a brick and mortar building. We believe that this will allow us a space in which we can worship and not have to rent from others for our rituals. It will also create a safe space for us to worship and to enjoy fellowship without fear. We would also have the storage space to collect food and clothing for donations, something we desperately need. It will give us a base of operations to conduct fund raisers so that we may continue community service. This building will be a place where we can come together in fellowship, a place where people in need can come for a helping hand, a place where others can discover they are not alone in their faith. Our chosen mission will much easier if we have our own space.

In 2010 our city, Nashville, was hit by flooding that devastated our town. Lives were lost, homes and belonging destroyed. Many Pagans did not receive any help despite the fact that millions of dollars were raised, most of that money went to Christian organizations. A spark came from that; everyone deserves help in desperate times and we have been working toward that ever since. This organization was formed because of the flood, out of disaster we rose up.

We intend to help as many people in need as possible; Pagan, Christian, Jew, Muslim, everyone who needs help, without regard to religion, lack of religion, race, creed, color or sexual orientation.

We have collected and distributed:
·clothing

·shoes

·toys

·baby clothes

·cleaning supplies and household items

·sheet rock

·insulation

·Angel Tree Program but for Pagan children whose parents struggle with the day-to-day expenses and have nothing left over to buy presents for Yule

·continue to collect food, clothes, shoes, household items and toys

 ·money to help more people

Our long term goals are bigger;

·Many woman of retirement age find themselves in dire straits, they did not make enough money in their working days to have much Social Security money coming to them. They are single and do not bring in enough to make ends meet. Older women are finding their way into homeless shelters and they have no hope of ever leaving. They are the first generation of American woman who actually have to worry about the possibility of living under a bridge. We intend to help by financing cottage industries for older women so they may earn extra money.

·Pagan retirment/nursing home for the elderly.

·land which will be used for Pagan Gatherings, it will also be leased to other organizations to help with operating expenses.

Our next fundraiser is a bake sale on Feb. 27, March will be a garage sale, April will be Hot dogs & Cool Cards (grilling and divination)  and there are several others in the works. We collect donations at rituals and are asking our members to tithe. In short, we are doing everything we can to raise the  money which will move our plans forward.

We will use the money raised to lease a building for our church, and to help those in need. We intend to be in our space by July or August.

You can help us bring our ideas into reality. Help us to offer aid to those in need, a hand up, someone to care, a place of fellowship, a place to study and to learn.

We will be eternally grateful for each dollar donated to us. We will ask the Old Ones to bless you daily.
