Hurricane Harvey

As we all know Houston is suffering a great deal due to Hurricane Harvey. There are so many poeple who have lost everything due to this tragedy, and I'm sure you all want to help in some way. After talking to a family member in Houston, she has advised that the best way to help is to raise money and "adopt a family". I know there are many different donations sites that are raising funds for Hurrican Harvey victims, however, many victims will not be able to get these funds immediatey. I plan on going to Houston with the funds made and distributing them directly to different families who are in need. If you want to know that your money is directly impacting a family and helping them get back on their feet, please donate.

UPDATE:
Luckily, Houston is being overfilled with volunteers at this time. There are so many volunteers trying to help others get back on their feet during this tragedy. After speaking with my aunt, the best and most efficient way to  help families in need rightnow is by distributing the money onto gift cards and giving it to families in need. My aunt is a principle at a school and knows so many families who are in need of the funds that we have raised. Therefore, these funds will be sent directly to her where she will be able to distribute the money as she sees fit to several different families. Thank you to everyone who donated, big or small, the willingness to help has been amazing!
