Divorce and Relationship Recovery
Founded in early 2013, the Divorce and Relationship Recovery Network now operates or supports four no-charge weekly information/support meetings in the San Francisco Bay Area, open to anyone dealing with divorce or broken relationships. Almost 200 people attend these meetings each week, and our 2014 plans call for launching several more groups like them. At each meeting, practical information is provided by a live speaker or video, followed by confidential small group sharing time for attendees to talk about their fears, doubts and challenges. We help people through very difficult financial, legal, planning, family, career, parenting, and relationship challenges. You are welcome to participate in any of our groups, if they meet a life need you're now experiencing.
We conducted a four-month year-end fundraising campaign to close out 2013, with a goal of $40,000. Although the response was very gratifying, and we're deeply grateful to everyone that contributed, we had raised only $24,926 of that total when time ran out, and we are turning to the gofundme network for the remaining $15,076 before the end of January. Help us improve and expand the existing groups, and launch new ones around the Bay Area and beyond. We are deeply committed to this work, but will be forced to curtail our plans if we can't reach this goal.
