60 Clicks for Mental Health
Donation protected
On Saturday 27th November I will be running 60km from Bondi to Manly to raise awareness and funds to support those who suffer for mental ill-health.
I will be raising money for two non-for-profit organisations, batyr and rehab4rehab

Almost half of the population experience mental ill-health at some stage in their lifetime and sadly, suicide remains the leading cause of death for young Australians between the age of 15-24.
batyr is a preventative mental health organisation, created and driven by young people, for young people. batyr delivers innovative peer-to-peer mental health programs that reduce the stigma around mental health and empower young people with the knowledge, skills and resilience to lead mentally healthy lives, and the confidence to reach out for support when needed.
Since 2011, batyr has reached over 300,000 young people through their programs. More than ever, children and young people in Australia need our support to bolster their mental health and wellbeing; with waitlists for mental health support growing, a preventative approach is key. $25 puts one young person through a batyr program, so your support goes a long way!
Given my involvement in the thoroughbred industry, rehab4rehab is an organisation that resonates with me as they provide support for young people suffering from mental ill-health through Equine Assisted Therapy with retired racehorses.
rehab4rehab delivers Equine Assisted Therapy through structured activities such as grooming, groundwork and mounted sessions, as well as non-structured activities that focus on the relationship between the young person and the horse; exploring how the emotional state and behaviour of the human might impact the horse.
Equine therapy has been proven to assist young people with emotional regulation skills, emotional awareness, social skills, increased confidence, trust and empathy, and problem-solving skills.

Whilst I can’t promise the finish time will be pretty I can assure you I’ll do my best to get around in whatever fashion that may be!
Thank you for your support
