St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The University of Cincinnati is such a strong community, and we want to come together and give back to a cause!

On October 13, 2022, UC's chapters of Eta Sigma Phi, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and Classics Club will come together to host a night in Athens, a short production of the Acharnians, followed by Chipotle catering. This event will be a time for people to unite and donate to a cause we care so deeply about: St. Jude! However, we know not everyone can make it or that they just want to contribute from afar, so that's why we're putting together this page.

Feel free to donate as much or as little as you like, but know that every dollar makes a difference!

Here's a little bit more about St. Jude:

“The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of [their] founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.”
