Hello everyone,
I am devastated by the earthquake tragedies that have recently happened in Mexico. I have a family of my own and cannot imagine what it's like to go through something like this. As most of you know, Mexico was just hit with a 7.1 magnitude earthquake. As of now, there have been more than 200 deaths and that number is only expected to increase. It has taken the lives of many, but it has also left others with no homes. It is a very difficult time for everyone in Mexico right now. My family and friends are located in ( Cuernavaca, Morelos) but there are some small towns Morelos that was severely impacted by the earthquake. I decided to start this GoFundMe in hopes of raising some money in order to help. As of right now, people there do not have electricity and it has been almost impossible to communicate with them. There Some of the people who have lost their homes are elderly who can no longer work. The food in this towns will be limited for a while. Families have lost their loved ones who were working in the factories due to the damage.
Anything will help. Please remember the US Dollar is valued at almost double in Mexico and will go very far. The money will be spent on food, first aid and materials to help rebuild homes.
My friend and her family are helping these small towns that the government hasn't help. They are running out of resources and they need help, I will be responsible for managing the withdrawals and I will deposit the money to my friend's fundation. So they keep helping these people that lost everything by the earthquake.
