Help fight poverty in Guatemala
Donation protected
The senior seminar Relevance Rising, at Maggie L. Walker Governor's School, is raising money to fund the construction of a community center/library in Tzunana, Guatemala, where
we will be traveling in April.
The town of Tzunana on Lake Atlilan is the poorest village in the area and they need your help. Our goal as a class is to raise $10,000 by the end of March to donate to the library. Promoting literacy is the most successful way to alleviate poverty.
We are personally reaching out to the community and asking you for a donation to support this cause and help make a difference in the lives of so many needy people. If every reader donated at least $10.00 we would be able to reach our goal. Thank you so much for your support; any monetary amount will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference and a lasting impact on the children of Tzununa.
